Lorinda Epply
Lorinda Epply was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 13, 1874. She attended the Cincinnati Art Academy and Columbia University. She began her career as an artist at Rookwood pottery in 1904. During her extensive tenure which lasted until 1948, she created a great volume of work in many different glazes. She is best known for her soft pastels in Jewel porcelain Glaze. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be above average. Lorinda passed away in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 18, 1951.
