John Hamilton Delany Wareham
John Hamilton Delany Wareham was was born in Grand Ledge, Michigan on January 27, 1871. He attended the Cincinnati Art Academy. He began working at Rookwood Pottery in 1893. His subjects were usually floral in the finest glazes such as Iris, Sea Green, and especially Decorated Matte. He spent years as the vice president, and became president in 1934. John Wareham died on April 25, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Collector interest in his work is considered to be above average.
