Jeanette Carick Swing
Jeanette Carick Swing was born on December 16, 1866 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received formal training at both the Pratt Institute in New York and at the Cincinnati Art Academy. She decorated pieces at Rookwood Pottery for only a few years, between 1900 and 1904. The majority of her work was executed in Standard Glaze. She died on March 13, 1942 in Southgate, Kentucky. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be below average.
