Harriette Rosemary Strafer
Harriette Rosemary Strafer was born in 1873 in Covington, Kentucky. She attended the Cincinnati Art Academy, and at the age of 17 joined Rookwood Pottery in 1890. She executed pieces generally in Standard Glaze. In 1899 she left for New York to further her studies. She died on April 27, 1935 in Covington, Kentucky. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be average.
