Harriet Wilcox, Rookwood Artist
Harriet Elizabeth Wilcox worked at Rookwood Pottery for many years, yet very little is known about "Hattie" at this time. She decorated from 1886 until the 1930's, with a hiatus for a few years after 1907. Her work is found on a variety of glazes due to her long tenure. She was one of only a handful of artists to decorate in the black opal glaze. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be average.
