Daniel Cook

Daniel Cook was born in Cincinnati on May 15, 1872. He attended the Cincinnati Art Academy for one year before attending the Royal Academy in Munich and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. He decorated pieces at Rookwood Pottery for only a few years, between 1893 and 1895. His work is generally found on Standard Glaze pieces. He does have the distinction of being one of the few artists who decorated steins. Collector interest in his pieces is considered to be average.
