Charles John Dibowski

Charles John Dibowski was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 12. 1875. In 1892 at the age of 17 he joined the decorating department of Rookwood Pottery. He left in 1895 when he moved to Zanesville, Ohio to work for the Weller Pottery company. His work is generally found on Standard Glaze pieces. He died on November 1, 1923 in Cincinnati, Ohio and is buried in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Collector interest in his pieces is considered to be below average.
