Carolyn Frances Steinle
Carolyn Frances Steinle (Carrie) was born in 1871, in Cincinnati Ohio. She began working at Rookwood pottery at the age of 15 in 1886, but did not begin decorating until the year 1892. She worked in a variety of glazes, including Standard Glaze, Iris, and Vellum. She left the pottery in 1925 to join a convent. She died on August 1, 1944. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be average.
