Brush McCoy Pottery 1950s Medium Garden Frog Planter #486
Brush McCoy was famous for their frogs and were made for several years from the 1930's to 1950's.
This is a very cute Brush-McCoy frog which is known as Garden Accessory or Outdoor Pottery. This garden frog is just adorable! This is a medium garden frog planter with a length of approximately 5 1/4 inches. He is in marvelous condition and it is hard to believe he is nearly 60 years old! Great decorator piece and the perfect piece for anyone who loves frogs.
Exceptional frog in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs, no restoration. I can not detect any crazing on this wonderful planter. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. There is no evidence of repair or modification. The white spots are studio light reflections.
Authentic Brush McCoy Pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
