Alice E. Caven

Alice E. Caven was born in Price Hill, Ohio, and Studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy. She decorated pieces at Rookwood Pottery for only a few years, between 1917 and 1919, before leaving for a position at the Cincinnati Art Academy. Her work is usually found on Vellum pieces and tended towards softer blue and green tones. She died in Long Island, New York in 1937. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be average.
