1932 Rookwood Pink to Green Matt Vase #6108
Rookwood Pottery had many lines that are known as production ware which are usually not artist signed or have unique hand painting. This vase was probably produced early in using this mold since the relief is well done. This is a great collectible middle period line sure to please any collector.
This is a great production ware Rookwood vase. Although it is on the smaller side, it is still a wonderful example of Rookwood pottery. The design on it is quite interesting and has dots, zig zag lines and daisy flowers. In my opinion, this is a very unique and hard to find Rookwood vase. This is a great way to start your collection of Rookwood pottery!
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Very very minor underglaze crazing on this wonderful vase. It may appear more pronounced due to the macro lens used for the photography. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. Dimensions are below.
H: 4 3/4", Base: 2 1/8" , Rim: 1 7/8"
